When legendary illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita signs cards at official events, he almost always includes a sketch alongside his signature.
While personal inscriptions add great sentimental value for the original owner, finding “clean” Arita signatures with sketches, without any names or dates, is exceptionally uncommon.
That makes this 1999 Base Set starter trio (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle) stands out from most autographed copies.
Not only does every card feature an original hand sketch with zero personal dedications or dates, but all three cards are also sequentially graded by PSA.
